I am starting up our e-commerce store, The Flow You Know; it is a vision in our eyes and becoming a reality. I have had this idea for years creating a handmade goods store for local vendors. I also wanted to include nonprofits to donate to such as Boston BLM and the LGBTQ community. We are still finding ways to integrate these causes! I am open to suggestions and hope to contribute back to the community that I am a part of. I started my process of outreach by contacting vendors to work with, and we had a decent turn out of interested e-commerce partners for wholesale inquiries. I then contacted the website builders and the head of the project, Shane, has been great about contacting me with updates and questions. The vendors came around to tell me their pricing and line sheets, their views for drop shipping, and how they would like to proceed working together. It is a fun and interesting process getting to know their likes, dislikes, and what their preferences are. I personally feel very lucky to work with such great people on this site and I know that it will turn out even better than hoped for. I began choosing the products for the store, and I love what we have come up with. It is a diverse product line that represents the New England area and especially Boston now. I look forward to creating relationships and seeing where the crafts and handmade goods turn up. These are the beginning days of the business, and I am just starting to see where I could make improvements. Social media is the next steps and I have a few people in mind, but if you would like to work together send me a message.
